The "Hawkman: Wanted" arc reaches its conclusion here, and Joe Bennett and Art Thibert's cover delivers a fittingly intense send-off — Hawkman's golden hawk-mask looms enormous and skull-like against a roiling red sky, flanked by actual skulls scattered through the murk, projecting real menace. Frank Tieri's New 52 run on the winged warrior wraps up with this 2013 issue, and the cover makes a strong case that Carter Hall's troubles have been anything but ordinary.
