The Return of Gorgo #3
In "The Hidden Witness," a young author whose fantastical tales seem plucked from his dreams finds his fiction chillingly real when giant ants threaten the South American province of Antigoma. Enlisted by the U.S. military to help stop the invasion, he must confront a nightmare that mirrors his own imagination—only this time, the story has no ending he can write. Cover by Dick Giordano, this 1964 Charlton issue presents a surreal blend of pulp adventure and uncanny déjà vu, where fiction and reality blur in unexpected ways.

A young author writes incredible fantasy fiction novels claiming he has dreams of stories then writes them down when he awakens. It turns out his novel about giant ants attacking the South American province of Antigoma was coming true and he is enlisted by the U.S military to help defeat the giant ants and save Antigoma. After he does he falls in love with and marries Colonel Mantenez's daughter, the lovely senorita Maria, just like in his novel.
