KoorII, a 15 foot tall humanoid frog alien from the planet Corpus III, comes to Earth with hopes of conquering it. His home world is drying up and his people need an aquatic world to live on. He witnesses Gorgo and his mother come ashore on a Chinese island where they decimate a Chinese military base. Koorll believes he can control the Gorgos to help him exterminate Earthlings. The Gorgos don't respond to his telepathic commands. When KoorII attempts to kill a nearby paleontologist in a diving suit named Dr. Mason (who was observing the Gorgos), Gorgo grabs KoorII and crushes him in his hand.
