The Resistance #7

From WildStorm's 2003 series comes issue #7 of The Resistance, featuring a striking collage-style cover by Christopher Shy and Tom Palmer. The composition layers three distinct visual zones: a lone female figure suspended in a luminous, hazy green atmosphere at the top; a fierce woman in red confronted by a smoldering, skull-faced figure below left; and a moody street scene populated by figures in a rain-slicked urban setting at lower right. It's a visually ambitious cover that captures the series' tense, atmospheric tone, with interior work by the creative team of Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray, Juan Santacruz, and Francis Portela.
