The Rawhide Kid #78
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis July 1970 Marvel western finds the Rawhide Kid in serious trouble — the cover shows him astride his horse Nightwind, guns drawn, charging through a rocky canyon pass while armed outlaws close in from every side in a full-scale ambush. Larry Lieber's cover pencils, inked by John Tartaglione and Herb Trimpe, capture a real sense of urgency, with scattered guns and scrambling badmen framing the Kid's desperate dash to break free. Subtitled "The Badmen and the Kid!," this issue promises the kind of fast-drawing, hard-riding action that made Marvel's western line a reliable frontier thrill in the early 1970s.
