The cover by Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia drops you right into the chaos aboard the Nevada Star, a Mississippi-style paddlewheel steamboat under siege as outlaws and brawling figures are sent flying overboard into the churning river below. Marvel's pint-sized gunfighter is ready to take on "The River Boat Raiders!" in this August 1965 issue, with the tagline "Grab Your Six-Gun!!" setting the scrappy, kinetic tone perfectly. Interior art and story come from Larry Lieber, making this a fine snapshot of Marvel's Western line at full steam.
