Marko captures the Kane brothers then begins hunting the Rawhide Kid. Rawhide is working on a railroad, fending off Boar's tough guy routine and receiving the attentions of April, but Marko drives the Kid away. The Kid runs into traps Marko set for him, including a giant mirror and snare. A blow to the head takes away the Kid's memory as he escapes Marko but another blow from Nightwind restores the Kid's faculties in time for him to wound Marko in the arm, forcing him to abandon his hunt for the Kid.
