Rawhide Kid is ambushed by Yellow Wolf's Comanche war party and staked out in the desert to die. Sam Lomax, who has a grudge against the Comanches for the death of his son, frees Rawhide Kid and allies with him to take down Yellow Wolf. Sam discovers that his son is not dead and has instead been adopted by the tribe as Sky Eagle. Sky Eagle is forced to kill Yellow Wolf to win his freedom but chooses to remain with the tribe.
