Few covers from 1991 stop you cold quite like this one: a towering white wedding cake, its tiers smeared with blood and the Punisher's skull symbol, with suited figures sprawled across the layers and a bridal veil draped among the carnage. Perched triumphantly on top is a cake topper styled as Frank Castle himself, standing alone where a happy couple would normally be. The tagline — "If There Be Any Man Opposed, Let Him Open Fire Now!" — perfectly captures the darkly comic tone of this story, "Let Them Eat Cake," brought to life by the creative team of Mike Baron, Steven Butler, Kim DeMulder, and Gregory Wright.
