Love is in the air — and apparently so is villainy — in this 2002 DC/Cartoon Network issue that pairs Mojo Jojo with a very menacing bride. The cover, inked and penciled by Phil Moy, depicts the armored, tuxedo-clad Mojo Jojo striking a dramatic pose alongside his Bride of Frankenstein–styled simian companion, who commands "Destroy them, my love!" while all three Powerpuff Girls — Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup — react with alarm in the heart-dotted background. It's a wonderfully absurd Valentine's premise that captures the show's signature blend of cartoon charm and over-the-top supervillain scheming.
