From DC's Cliffhanger imprint, The Possessed #4 brings Geoff Johns and Kris Grimminger's mature-readers supernatural series to its penultimate chapter with a cover by Liam Sharp that feels more unsettling for its restraint. A heavily tattooed, scarred figure dominates the foreground gripping what appears to be a blade, while a group of four shadowy figures — including what looks like a child — loom ghostlike in the distressed background. Sharp's photo-realistic, textured treatment gives the whole image a grimy, haunted atmosphere that fits the "Sunday School" story title in quietly ominous fashion.
