Aug 1975 · Marvel · 0.25 USD
“In the Claws of Bounty-Hawk!”

In "In the Claws of Bounty-Hawk!", the Outlaw Kid finds himself caught between justice and rebellion when he disrupts a train robbery by the Red Vest Gang—only to turn around and redistribute the stolen money to a struggling family. His act of defiance draws the relentless Bounty-Hawk, who tracks him down and prepares to claim his reward, but a sudden ambush by the vengeful gang forces an uneasy alliance. Written by Mike Friedrich and brought to life with gritty precision by Dick Ayers, with inks by Jack Abel and letters by Artie Simek, the cover by Ayers and Frank Giacoia captures the tension of a showdown on the rails.
