Spinning out of the pages of Jennifer Blood, this 2012 Dynamite series reaches its sixth and final chapter with a cover by Admira Wijaya that pulls no punches — a bloodied young woman in a ninja headband lies unconscious inside a wooden crate, splattered with crimson and marked with Asian script, while a body clad in red lies crumpled nearby. The image is genuinely unsettling in the best pulpy tradition, signaling that the Ninjettes' story has reached a brutal and uncompromising conclusion. Al Ewing's script, brought to life by Eman Casallos and colored by Inlight Studio, promises a finale every bit as raw as that striking cover image suggests.
