The Ninjettes #5

Spinning out of the pages of Jennifer Blood, this 2012 Dynamite series wraps up with a cover by Admira Wijaya that makes an immediate impression: a masked, blood-streaked katana held coolly in hand, a plaid skirt and school-uniform top doing little to soften the menace radiating from the figure kneeling on the floor. The Ninjettes have always balanced that contrast between youth and lethality, and the bloodied blade here suggests the story titled "Everything We Like Is Hard" earns its name. Al Ewing writes, with interior art by Eman Casallos — a solid creative team delivering a sharp finale to this action-driven series.
