This June 1993 issue puts Vance Astrovik — Marvel Boy — front and center in a striking split image: one half the costumed hero, the other a prisoner in a numbered jumpsuit, with glowing telekinetic rings serving as the scales of the title story, "The Scales of Justice." On one side of those scales stands a group including Captain America, the Thing, and a red-haired heroine rallying in his favor; on the other, a lineup of green-suited opponents and a suited figure press the opposite case. Cover art by E. Craig Brasfield and Jeff Albrecht frames Vance's dual identity with real dramatic clarity, making this a memorable chapter in the young Warriors' run.
