“Forever Evil, Part II of III: The Road to Hell”

The second chapter of "Forever Evil" arrives in this April 1995 issue, with Supergirl and the New Titans charging headlong into a confrontation with the Children of Trigon — and the cover by William Rosado (pencils) and Klaus Janson (inks) makes the stakes feel immediate. A wild-haired, red-caped Supergirl leads the rush forward alongside her blonde companion, while a winged, pink-skinned figure looms triumphantly overhead with the taunt "Sorry, saps! We got her first!!", flanked by a green-skinned demon face and a stone-textured bruiser in the background. Marv Wolfman's script, rendered by artist William Rosado and inked by Keith Champagne, promises plenty of supernatural tension as this three-part arc heads toward its conclusion.
