The New Teen Titans #5
In "Terra in the Night," the New Teen Titans take on a high-stakes protection detail when Judge Adrian Chase becomes the target of mob boss Anthony Scarpelli. With George Pérez and Marv Wolfman’s storytelling at its heart, and Pérez’s dynamic art—penciled and inked with precision, colored by Adrienne Roy—this issue blends courtroom tension with covert action, as the Titans face threats both human and otherworldly. The cover, a striking piece by George Pérez, captures the moment of suspense that defines the story’s mood.

The Teen Titans protect him, but are attacked by minions sent to Scarapelli by the Monitor, after he contacts him for assistance. Judge Chase later dons the guise of Vigilante and aids the Titans, unbeknowst to them, as he assassinates each villain they are fighting, as only Cheshire escapes wth her life.
