The New Archies #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis festive February 1989 issue of The New Archies delivers a wonderfully comic holiday scene courtesy of cover penciler Henry Scarpelli and inker Rudy Lapick: a very apologetic Santa Claus stuffs a dismayed Archie into an oversized pink stocking labeled "Betty," explaining with a grin that she's been good all year and Archie was at the top of her wish list. A decorated Christmas tree, a bag overflowing with gifts, and a cheerful note reading "For Santa, Thanks Betty" round out the scene, while the full gang of young Riverdale pals watches from a corner inset — pure holiday mischief that makes this a delightful addition to any Archie collection.
