The Monolith #12

The final issue of DC's The Monolith closes out the series with a hauntingly atmospheric cover by Phil Winslade — a massive, brooding golem-like figure stands amid what appears to be a desolate Coney Island, a weathered Ferris wheel looming against a stormy grey sky. The monochromatic, almost painterly rendering gives the scene a melancholy gravitas that feels entirely fitting for a story titled "We Sailed for Parts Unknown."
