The Mighty Thor #19

Aug 1983 · Marvel UK · 0.25 GBP
“The Demon Brigade!!”

In "The Demon Brigade!!", Thor and his companions face a dire test of loyalty and wit when captured by lizard-like warriors holding Odin prisoner. With Odin urging surrender, Thor suspects foul play—especially when he realizes the captives are fed drugged food—and uses that insight to break free, rally the enslaved, and turn the tide. Written by Gerry Conway and Len Wein, with dynamic art by John Buscema and Don Perlin, and a striking cover by Jim Starlin and Frank Giacoia, this 1983 Marvel UK issue delivers a tense, clever turn in Thor’s quest, setting the Asgardians on a new path to find Sif.
