Dark Circle Comics brings the Mighty Crusaders back in style with this second issue, subtitled "In the Spotlight!" — and the cover makes that literally true, as a grinning, bespectacled hero leaps exuberantly in front of the U.S. Capitol dome while a crowd of reporters thrusts microphones skyward. Medallion portraits along the left edge round out the team roster: the Shield, Steel Sterling, Firefly, Comet, Jaguar, and the Darkling, signaling just how deep this ensemble runs. Kelsey Shannon's clean, energetic linework and Matt Herms's bright colors give the whole scene a welcoming Saturday-morning charm that makes "Fated Reunion" feel like a very good reason to pick up issue two.
