The Michael Moorcock Library - Elric #[7]
"Book One: Dead God's Homecoming" marks a pivotal moment in Elric’s saga, with Michael Moorcock and P. Craig Russell delivering a visually striking and emotionally charged chapter. As Elric leads the Eastern folk against the Chaos fleet, his journey into darkness takes a harrowing turn when he confronts Jagreen Lern and must make devastating choices under the influence of chaos—culminating in the tragic killing of his wife Zarozinia, after she’s transformed by the forces of Hell. P. Craig Russell’s evocative art, enhanced by Lovern Kindzierski and Digital Chameleon’s colors and Galen Showman’s lettering, brings this grim, mythic tale to life, while the cover by Russell and Michael T. Gilbert captures the weight of Elric’s burden.
