The Me You Love in the Dark continues its unsettling atmosphere in issue three, with Jorge Corona's cover offering a striking image: a lone figure reflected in a pair of teal-tinted glasses sits beneath a looming Victorian house silhouetted against a fiery orange sky, while enormous pale, skeletal forms curl through the darkness around them. It's a beautifully unnerving composition that perfectly captures the tension between the intimate and the monstrous. Skottie Young and Corona's 2021 Image series clearly has no intention of letting readers get too comfortable.
