The Mask: Toys in the Attic #4

The four-issue Toys in the Attic arc reaches its finale with a cover that Doug Mahnke makes impossible to ignore — the Mask's enormous green grin dominates the foreground as he hoists a hapless, bespectacled fellow by the collar, while a wild crowd of costumed and armed figures surges chaotically in the background. It's a quintessentially unhinged snapshot of the anarchic energy that defined Dark Horse's take on the character in 1998. Bob Fingerman, Sibin Slavković, and Bernhard Kolle bring the series home in what promises to be a fittingly over-the-top conclusion.
