The Mask Returns #2

The second chapter of this four-part Dark Horse miniseries puts the Mask's gleaming green grin front and center, with that wide-eyed, cigar-chomping face radiating the character's anarchic menace at full force. Doug Mahnke's cover surrounds the Mask with a striking red-headed woman pressing close on one side, a dark-haired woman in a red dress watching warily from the background, and what appears to be an unconscious or struggling figure caught in the chaos below. John Arcudi and Mahnke's 1992 series captures the wild, unpredictable energy that made this property so compelling — issue two promises the mayhem is only escalating.
