The issue contains two main stories. "The Big Purge" features the Lone Rider confronting cattle thieves and a corrupt sheriff named Harris, with the Lone Rider using a special watch to track a thief's movements across twenty miles to prove his guilt. "He Who Was Hunted" begins with a conflict between Native American tribes Swift Arrow and Crazy Buffalo over territorial disputes, and transitions to the Lone Rider facing off alone against a band of Native American warriors in the Grand Teton region. "One Man Army" depicts the Lone Rider infiltrating an outpost at night to stop an injun (as termed in the text) who has been stealing from General Pigs' daily receipts.
