This April 1952 Dell issue brings the masked hero front and center in a tense Western standoff — the Lone Ranger grips a fallen figure while Tonto levels a revolver from behind a rocky outcrop, the two partners clearly working in tandem against an unseen threat. The bold black domino mask logo crowning the vivid yellow cover perfectly sets the mood for the adventure within, "The Army Scout's Gold." At a dime a copy, this is a fine snapshot of Dell's Western storytelling at full gallop.
