“Three's a Crowd”

In "Three's a Crowd," Triplicate Girl takes on a trio of social duties—monitor duty, a magno-ball game with Bouncing Boy, and a night out with Superman—only to find her club date is unexpectedly Starfinger, who claims a mysterious past with her and seems to mirror her powers. Written by Jack Briglio and illustrated by Alexander Serra, this 2008 issue explores the Legion’s dynamics with a mix of humor and intrigue, all under Serra’s dynamic cover art.

Triplicate Girl splits up so one of her bodies can perform monitor duty, another can go to a magno-ball game with Bouncing Boy, and a third can go with Superman to a club. But Triplicate Girl discovers that her date to the club is really Starfinger, who claims to have dated her in the past and appears to share Triplicate Girl's abilities. It takes the whole Legion to convince Starfinger that Triplicate Girl is not interested in a date.
