Titled "Blinded by Science," this June 2002 installment of The Legion earned Wizard's Book of the Month — and one look at Olivier Coipel and Andy Lanning's cover makes it easy to see why. Three Legionnaires surge forward through a storm of hurtling orbs and blazing energy streaks, rendered in a striking monochromatic magenta palette that gives the whole image a tense, kinetic urgency. Writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning were clearly firing on all cylinders during this run, and issue #7 stands as a vivid snapshot of the series at full momentum.
