The issue contains two main stories: In the first, a character attempts to hide from a pursuer by getting hurt, but the plan backfires when he's hit with a ring and beaten by a larger opponent. In "Natch in Trumpet with an Ace!," a fish vendor drives through town playing his trumpet, claiming to be selling fish, while a woman repeatedly asks him to hold various items in his pocket (a compact, cigarette case) as a prank; the joke escalates when animals begin following him, and the chaos eventually leads to children chasing after him, with the principal ordering them to be quiet.
