When Natch forgets the money for the dry cleaning, a simple errand spirals into a comedy of mishaps involving a run-out-of-gas car, a stubborn taxi driver, and a frantic search through town by his parents. Two enterprising teens cook up a scheme to rent out a car for Saturday night dance money, but when they snag the wrong "For Rent" sign from the five-and-dime, their joke spirals hilariously out of control as half the neighborhood shows up convinced they've found a place to live. What starts as a quick cash grab turns into pure chaos when an actual cop, a determined landlady, and a mob of desperate renters descend on the Kilroys' house—and the only thing rented that night is trouble.

Two-Ton Katie Kilroy decides to go on a diet after comparing herself to the svelte models in a fashion magazine, but late-night hunger pangs send her sneaking down to the kitchen for a midnight snack—setting off a chain of misunderstandings that has her mother convinced there's a burglar in the house. When a young boy discovers a "Wanted for Bank Robbery" poster featuring his father in the attic, he and his sister are convinced that Pop is a fugitive—never suspecting that the whole thing is part of a prank for the local Policemen's Ball. As panic spreads through the household and a cop shows up at the door, the truth finally comes out, turning the family's worst fears into the neighborhood's biggest laugh.

When a borrowed fountain pen goes missing, a teen named Natch demands that his pal Jackson replace it with something equally impressive—one that writes under water, no less. Jackson tracks down a new pen and the two decide to test its underwater claims at the public swimming pool, leading to a hilariously chaotic chain of events that turns the whole facility blue. It's a classic case of good intentions spiraling into total mayhem.
