The Kilroys features two main stories. In the first, the titular family goes boating where they encounter rival Wilbur Morton and his yacht, leading to comedic mishaps on the water. The second story, "Solid Jackson," follows a young boy named Jackson who encounters a fortune teller named Mille Olga at a boardwalk before going home, where he receives a pair of girls' shoes as a gift and must deal with the embarrassment of wearing them, ultimately learning they were sent to help break in properly for his mother.
