The Jurassic League #6

The grand finale of DC's six-issue prehistoric superhero saga arrives with a cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer that plunges readers straight into the action: a dinosaur-suited Superman swings on a line through the air alongside a bat-winged, cape-draped creature and a pair of armored green reptilian figures, all of them looming over a massive, clawed beast whose gaping jaws fill the lower half of the image. It's a wonderfully wild image that captures the series' charm — familiar heroic silhouettes reimagined as thunder lizards locked in a titanic struggle. A fitting visual send-off for one of 2022's most inventive limited series.
