After seeing a village send its young women as gifts to Mungo, Tono and Kono follow another safari onto the mountain. Mungo uses the women to operate the hydroelectric dynamos that power his realm. His enforcers are chimera, blends of various animal and human chromosomes. He pays for his equipment with diamonds from the mountain.
