The Jungle Twins each slay leopards, making them warriors and councilors among the Wakondis. Their adopted father, Chief Molo, tells them that as infants they were sole survivors from the crash of a flying machine. With their brother Bakali they investigate the airplane wreck, taking artifacts. As they creep past the enemy Badogo town they spot and free two white captives, who help them piece together their story. The twins are heirs to a European throne. They would like to see that land some day, but proclaim that Molo is their father, Bakuli their brother, and the jungle their home.
