The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #1
In *The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #1*, written by Matthew Rosenberg and illustrated by Carmine Di Giandomenico, the Clown Prince of Crime returns to Gotham only to find his old city reshaped by Black Mask, Two-Face, and the Riddler, who’ve carved out their own criminal empire in his absence. With a chilling new mission, the Joker abandons Gotham for Los Angeles, unleashing a nationwide campaign of chaos. Meanwhile, a shadowy figure in Gotham quietly studies him—watching, waiting, and perhaps planning to act. The cover, by Lee Bermejo, captures the unsettling shift in tone with a stark, haunting portrait of the Joker, his grin frozen in something far less joyful than laughter.
