The Irredeemable Ant-Man #3
In "Homecoming," Eric O'Grady—still grappling with the weight of his past—navigates grief and isolation in both memory and the present, as a haunted reunion with Veronica at Chris' grave gives way to a tense, private moment that spirals into something far more complicated. Written by Robert Kirkman and brought to life with moody precision by Phil Hester, Ande Parks, Bill Crabtree, and the lettering team, this issue blends emotional vulnerability with the unsettling edge of a man losing himself in the suit he wears. The cover by Phil Hester and Ande Parks captures the uneasy intimacy of the moment, a 2.99 USD glimpse into a psyche unraveling beneath the surface.

In the past, Eric and Veronica head to Chris' funeral and Eric spends much of his effort trying to make time with Chris' former girlfriend. Testing out his new Ant-Man suit, Eric gets involved in a domestic dispute between Chris' neighbors and ends up punching the husband in the neck and injuring him badly. Eric and Veronica make out on Chris' grave until Veronica gets cold feet. In the present, Eric is denied by his date so sneaks back later in his Ant-Man costume to watch her shower. Unfortunately, Mitch has been tracking him and interrupts his peeping tom time by knocking on the door.
