The Invisibles #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeGrant Morrison's boundary-pushing Vertigo series arrives at issue #16 with a cover by Sean Phillips that's genuinely unsettling — a shirtless, wide-eyed young figure with spiked blond hair is splayed outward, pierced on all sides by needles, bolts, and coiling mechanical tendrils, while a vast, spectral alien face looms behind him against a swirling amber and green void. The single word "London" hangs in the air beside him, lending the whole image a quietly ominous sense of place. Paul Johnson's interior work pairs with Morrison's writing for what promises to be another psychedelic, paranoia-laced chapter in one of the 1990s' most ambitious comics.
