The heroes gather to discuss the new threat. Hawkeye is attacked by an evil duplicate of himself. Spider-Man steps in to help but is brought down by Iron Man. Galactus and his cosmic allies arrive on Earth. Thanos and the Infinity Watch travel to gaze into the Infinity Well. Warlock learns that the Magus is the evil side of himself. Death drives them off. As Mr. Fantastic explains that he was attacked by a duplicate, Iron Man and Wolverine claim that both Reed and Tony are fakes. The heroes begin to battle but Mr. Fantastic halts the fracas by detonating a Gamma Bomb and blowing everybody up.
