“Beware the Beehive!”

In "Beware the Beehive!", the Hulk's latest rampage collides with a cosmic mystery when Paragon emerges from a mysterious cocoon linked to Adam Warlock’s origins, aided by Doctor Strange. As Paragon retreats into the cocoon to complete his transformation, the lab is shattered in a familiar burst of Hulk-sized chaos—leaving the cocoon lost beneath the waves. Written by Len Wein and David Kraft, with dynamic art by Herb Trimpe and inks by Frank Giacoia, this 1977 annual features a cover by Trimpe and Giacoia that captures the eerie, otherworldly tension of the moment.

From the same cocoon that birthed Adam Warlock, Paragon is born, with the help of Doctor Strange. Paragon re-enters the cocoon to complete his metamorphosis to a higher being, at which time the lab is destroyed (in typical Hulk fashion) and the cocoon lost beneath the sea.
