The Hooded Horseman pursues outlaws in the mountains after a gunfight causes an avalanche that destroys a cabin. He captures the criminals and turns them over to the sheriff. In a separate story, Native Americans plot to kidnap a young brave who must deliver the sacred wampum to the forest spirits, but the Hooded Horseman intervenes to thwart their scheme, with the clever Mattu ultimately meeting his defeat.
