The Hand of Fate #23
In "He Who Robs The Dead," state executioner Philip Spayne unwittingly opens a door between life and death, summoning the spirits of the deceased to purge the world of tyrants and gangsters. As his ghostly enforcers carry out their grim mission, a kind-hearted spirit steps in to end his descent into tyranny. The story, lettered in typeset by Leroy, presents a chilling, early example of supernatural justice from Ace Magazines' 1954 lineup.
