The Green Lantern #1
"Intergalactic Lawman" kicks off Grant Morrison’s bold new era of The Green Lantern with a cosmic twist: when the Earth is shrunk and put up for auction by the villainous Volgar Zo, Hal Jordan arrives to find the planet already claimed by The Shepherd, a charismatic figure who’s brainwashed its inhabitants into worshipping him. With the rest of the Green Lantern Corps hunting down the intergalactic villains gathered for the auction, Hal must confront a god-like figure in a world that no longer remembers its own reality. Liam Sharp’s dynamic art and Steve Oliff’s vivid colors bring this high-stakes, mind-bending scenario to life, while Tom Orzechowski’s lettering keeps the tension crisp—this is Green Lantern at its most mythic and unpredictable.
