The Friendly Ghost, Casper #50
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCasper the Friendly Ghost finds himself in a bit of a predicament on this charming 1962 Harvey Comics cover, as the little ghost frantically tries to plug a spurting leak in the bottom of a small red rowboat — water shooting up around his ghostly hands while the vessel bobs in choppy waves. Warren Kremer's clean, expressive linework gives Casper a wonderfully worried look that's equal parts funny and endearing. Issue #50 is a delightful milestone in the series, pairing that memorable cover moment with the whimsically titled interior story "Drug Store Land.
