From Harvey Comics' November 1974 lineup comes this charmingly cosmic entry in the long-running series, featuring everyone's favorite friendly ghost floating through a star-scattered purple sky. On the cover, Casper — wearing a little green sash and balancing what appears to be a flying saucer on his head — faces off against a very grumpy, fever-red personified planet with a thermometer stuck in its mouth, heat waves radiating off its surface. It's a wonderfully inventive scene that captures Casper's cheerful, can-do spirit even when the universe itself seems to be running a temperature.
