The Friendly Ghost, Casper #148

Harvey Comics' long-running ghost with the biggest heart around returns in this December 1970 issue, and the cover sets a perfectly cheerful tone. Casper is cheerfully wading in a pond, reaching toward a sinking paper boat while a small fish looks on — all as two startled kids splash and stumble on the shore behind him, apparently spooked by the friendly apparition's sudden appearance near their toy sailboat.
