Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber's crime comedy continues with this quietly absurd cover: a suited man stands at a press podium bristling with microphones, apparently addressing an unseen crowd — while stashed beneath the lectern is a chaotic jumble of contraband that includes cash, a skateboard, and what appears to be a bag of chips. Ryan Hill's warm, spotlight-drenched colors give the whole scene a theatrically ironic glow that says everything about the series' tone. If you enjoy crime stories where the con is always one bad decision away from unraveling, The Fix remains one of Image's sharpest offerings of 2017.
