Two guys who look like they've seen the inside of more diners than courtrooms pose in front of a "House of Pies Family Restaurant" at golden-hour sunset — one leaning on a vintage car hood in a floral shirt, the other standing cool in a black jacket with brass knuckles in hand. Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber launch this Image series with a cover that balances laid-back charm and low-key menace in equal measure. Lieber's warm, sun-drenched linework and Ryan Hill's amber palette make the whole thing feel like a crime comedy that knows exactly how good it is.
