In "Chapter One: Dusk," the mysterious hero Dusk sounds the alarm as the Sun-Eater threatens to devour the Earth's star, forcing a desperate coalition of heroes to act. With Mr. Miracle ready to open a Boom Tube and a team of light-wielders prepared to draw the creature away, the fate of the solar system hangs in the balance—until both plans collapse, and the sun is consumed.

In the face of a dying sun, hope flickers across the globe as the heroes of Earth confront an unraveling world. The Phantom Stranger guides Dusk through quiet moments of courage—small, defiant acts of kindness and bravery that persist even in the dark.

In "Emerald Night," Parallax, haunted by memories of his past as Hal Jordan, drifts through the remnants of a dying universe, drawn to the Source Wall where Cyborg [Hank Henshaw] once stood. As the last flickers of hope fade, Green Lantern [Kyle Rayner] arrives with a desperate plea to reignite Earth—just as Parallax confronts the echoes of his former life, including John Stewart, Warrior [Guy Gardner], Tom Kalmaku, Carol Ferris, and Ganthet, whose presence forces him to reckon with what he’s lost.

In "The Final Knight," the fate of the solar system rests on the shoulders of Ferro, who steps in when Superman is called away on a critical mission to stop the sun from going nova.
