The Fighting Yank #4

The Fighting Yank battles enemy agents who have kidnapped Joan and stolen a dangerous chemical formula. After stopping a train by halting a bomb on its track, the Yank pursues the villains to their hideout, where he discovers Joan in the hands of the enemy and learns that Bruce has died from the chemical weapon they have developed. The Yank fights to rescue Joan and stop the villains from using their rifle weapon, ultimately triumphing over the Axis agents. The issue also includes a humorous backup story about a man trying to use sardines to lure a cat for an unspecified reward.
